The term ‘brand’ originates from the days when farmers used to brand their cattle to register ownership of their herd. Before long the brand began to represent not just the owner but their values and quality of their product; it became a mark of security and trust which we are familiar with today. A brand is far more than just a logo, so the first step in any branding project is to establish the key messages and core values that you want to project. Who are your target customers and what will appeal to them? We will help you to understand what makes your product or service different from your competitors and explore your unique selling points (USPs) before reflecting these in the graphic design of your logo.
We can explore the psychology of colour - did you know that purple has regal undertones, while orange is an appetising colour ideal for food packaging? We will also advise on the suitability of colours and styles for different uses - for example some styles look better on a computer screen making them ideal for a web-based business, while a very complex logo design may lead to complications if you want to use it for embroidered staff clothing.
Logo design from £300 (which includes transferring the copyright ownership to you - be careful if shopping around as not all design companies do this... or they may charge you extra!)
