Public relations is far more than spinning a good story to the media (though we could learn a few tricks from the politicians)! Stop being so polite and British and shout about your products - if you give the press a good story presented in the right way then we’re half way there.
Public relations is a great tool for promoting events, launching new products or ‘bigging up’ your business so don’t be shy. Ladies love PR too, because we (stupidly) don’t actually realise we’re being sold to or advertised at. We’re not all blonde but it helps.
